Matthew 22:37-40

Many times, we make our boundaries and don't let other people to come in. Also, because people want to keep distance from each other, it is hard to break the wall. Only the love can break the wall.

All powermissioner should know where the true loves comes from, and as the responding, we have to love God with whole our heart and share the love with other people.

The true love comes from the Lord (v.37)

He loves us and loves us but we never love Him back? Or perhaps we never love Him back the way He deserves to be loved!

We need to realize that genuine worship is an expression of love to God, no matter what form it may take. The raised hands, the bowed head, the clasped hands, or the bent knees. The important thing is that the heart is bent toward God in love and adoration!

We are to love God with all our heart, soul and mind, anywhere, any time. At church, at home, while driving, while working, while playing, etc. We love Him by honoring Him as best we can and by talking to Him every chance we get. Then we can recognize the true love is coming from God that we can find at any other places. (God's creation, Adamic covenant etc..is all about God's love toward His people)

Know! and Experience the true love coming for the Lord, even before we love our neighbors.

We have to love ourselves! (v.39b)

Before we love others,  I want to ask all of you how much you love yourself?

“as yourself”, contains the meaning of “as you love yourself”. What am I?

The first definition who we are: “Image of God”: God took the dirt and fashioned it, and breathed life into it, God created us in his image”. You and I are God’s image on this earth. Since God does not have human form, the image is figurative and it reflects God's characters.

“Loving yourself” is not just meaning that you love yourself so much, but you get to know the God who made you and the God’s definition on you.

[Suicide = destroying God’s image, the life we have is not ours. God has given temporary and we are responsible to keep and use for God's glory]

Imagine the cross, it not only represents Jesus' crucifixion and the resurrection, but also, indicates the relationship between God and us, and between other people and us.

Know where the true love is from and the who we are, so that, we can bring the love out to the people around us.

Love your neighbors  (v.39a)

We must love both God and people. It is my opinion that we will never properly love people until we learn to love God. People do love other people, but not as much as when they first love God. Why? Because God is the author of true love! We have to be in touch with Him to be in touch with them.

WHAT IF GOD HAD DECIDED AFTER HE CREATED MAN TO NEVER DEAL WITH HIM AGAIN? Just leave him alone, let him go his own way and see what happens? We probably wouldn’t be here today.

God has always involved Himself in the affairs of man, because God loves His creation and He loves people most of all. And we, too, are to love people most of all.

John 13:34-35 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

We can never love God too much or people. And the more we love Him, the more we will love people. The two go hand-in-hand. To love the Father means we must all love His children. All people whether they claim to be related or not.

Think how you can show the true love that we already experienced to other people in our daily life.
