How was your week? Hope you all had a good week!
Hebrews 12:2 says,
"fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the
joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat
down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Do
you guys know what Polaris Principle is? It is the principle mainly
used by sailors that they would look for the North Star to
navigate across the seas. The reason they always kept their eyes on the
North Star is because it never changes. They could navigate based on
something unchanging in their life.
In our lives, thats Jesus Christ our Lord. While everything else around you changes, our Lord will never change! Keep your eyes on Jesus!
As for this week's
meeting, we will meeting at church. We will continue to learn using the book, "experiencing God" Chapter 5 Section 1.
The ride will be arranged and announced! Please let me know beforehand if you need a ride!

9/21 Sunday: Church Picnic @ Winton Park-
Please bring your friends you've been praying for :) Also I've divided
into two teams for the games after- will announce it today! Wear
comfortable shoes!

1. The whole church picnic is coming up! Please pray for your family and/or friends who do not believe. Pray for them everyday- and bring them to church picnic on September 21st!
2. Pray for Joseph Group; We
have so many new comers. Praise the Lord! Please pray for our new
members AND our existing members. Pray that He will help us to overcome
our pride and truly love one another. that we can build a stronger
community in Christ.
3. Never cease to pray...We
must abide in Him and have clear consciences before Almighty God. Give
thanks, lay your burdens, ask for strength, faith and peace! Pray :)
